A lot has been happening lately, but I've been in no mood to write about it...
Here's Rocky with the new saddle. I like it, but it is NOT the one I ordered. I decided to keep it since it seemed to fit okay and I really didn't want to wait for them to send me a new one.
Shortly after deciding to keep the saddle, Rocky started acting like it was painful to him. He reaches back and bites it or else he just runs around bucking like a fool.
So for the past few weeks, I've been trying to figure out what's going on. I keep switching blankets and cinches and even saddles, but now he just acts like a brat no matter what. It sucks.
The good news is that starting tomorrow, I'll be working with another girl to try and break him of his bad habits. She rode him last week and had very few issues with him. It sounds like she has quite a bit of experience with breaking horses, and I think she'll be able to help me a lot. I hope so, because otherwise I'll never be able to just have a nice, relaxing trail ride with this guy!

That sucks, I hope things get better for you soon.
I hope the riding goes better with this new girl, it would be frustrating not to be able to ride all the time.
I realized that it was your birthday and I didn't send you a message! But, Happy Late Birthday! I hope you did something fun or at least things went better than they did in this blog. Love you, hope to see you soon.

Thanks for the Happy B-day. I was actually sick and didn't do too much. Oh well. B-days stopped being a good thing about 5 years ago :)
