I can't believe it's been over a month since my last post! Like they say, no news is good news. I've been riding Rocky as much as possible, mostly on the weekends. I've been meeting some of the other boarders and gone on a bunch of trail rides. Rocky is very good out in the woods. He really doesn't ever spook although we nearly stepped on a deer one time which startled him, of course. We've had pretty decent weather for riding lately, but it sounds like that's about to change. Tomorrow we will probably have our first snow! Yuck.
One of the highlights of the past few weeks was when Leslie was in town. We spent many hours at the stable and did quite a bit of riding. We tried to get some good pictures, but I think most of them are on Les' camera, so I don't have them yet. Here's a few that I do have...

Me on Rocky & Les on Blue
I got a phone call this morning that Rocky escaped from his pasture yesterday and was found eating someone's lawn. So from now on, he'll be in a stall at night and out in a different pasture during the days. He's got some new pasture mates, so we'll see how that goes. They put him in with the "seniors" - some of the really old former trail horses that we used to ride like Oakie, Blakely, and Brandy. So I think he'll miss being with Blue, but I know he'll like getting hay and grain twice a day! And now I'll be able to go out after dark if I want to, so that's cool. My board fee goes up though.

Oh my god! What a naughty, but clever boy! Thank god he was found right away though!
I'll get you those pics as soon as I get my computer back from the geek squad...those geeks are slow!
