Another month has already gone by! I've been working a ton (I'm at work right now - on a Sunday!), so my trips to the stable have been few and far between lately. Because of it, I don't have much to report. Rocky is getting very fuzzy with his winter coat growing in. He's also getting back into some of his old habits (bucking & acting spazzy) now that I don't have as much time for him. I really, really want to start riding him bareback in the arena, but every time I've attempted it, I've chickened out. I know for sure that I'll fall off if he does something stupid, so I want to have someone else there to hang onto him if he does. It seems like he's getting used to his new 'herd' - at first, none of the horses in his pasture liked him. Especially this bossy old mare, Brandy who clearly terrified him. Yesterday when I went out to get him, they were all standing by each other and he was right next to her. I'll try to get some pictures of shaggy Rocky for next time.

No. I have no idea what happened to my old one. I've been looking at some online, but haven't picked one out yet. The ones in the stores around here are lame.
